About-
Olivia Stark is a mixed media artist and painter from Northwest Montana. She began a Fine Arts degree in the late 90’s while raising her 4 children. She included a major in psychology and a minor in dance during her time at the University of Montana in the early 2000’s.
Olivia went on to perform with a local dance company in 2005/2006 and used that experience to inform her work with sculpture. She began showing her sculptures and paintings in 2008 and eventually transitioned into nonobjective work in 2015. It was then that she was recognized as an emerging artist by the Montana Arts Council and awarded a Strategic Investment Grant to study with Master Teacher Steve Aimone.
Since that time she has participated in group shows, Art auctions, and solo exhibitions. She is currently representing herself and her work can be seen at her home studio by appointment.
